Christmas 2021 Vegan Takeout

Several restaurants are offering vegan holiday meals to go. Find options in Seattle, Tacoma, Mukilteo, and Port Townsend. Let us know if any places are missing or newly added.

Flying Apron

Flying Apron is a vegan, gluten-free café and bakery in West Seattle with a food pickup location in Fremont. They have vegan holiday food options at both Fremont and West Seattle. Everything at Flying Apron is both gluten-free and vegan. You need to pre-order by Saturday, December 18 for pick-up on Wednesday, December 22 or Thursday, December 23.

Menu options include Dutch Apple Cherry Pie ($38), Pecan Pie ($45), Pumpkin Pie ($38), Sweet Pie Shells ($10), 6-pk Sugar Cookie Trees – Plain or with Icing ($22), 6-pk Ginger People ($22), 6-pk Brioche Rolls ($8), 6-pk Garlic Herb Brioche Rolls ($8), 5-pk Pecan Sticky Buns ($24), and 5-pk Cinnamon Rolls ($24).

Sage & Cinder

Sage & Cinder, vegan restaurant in Mukilteo, has several holiday menu options. Need to pre-order by Monday, December 20 for pickup on Friday, December 24. Menu includes soy free, nut free and gluten free options.

Seven course Italian Christmas menu for two to three people for $180:
– Alcoholic or Non-Alcoholic Cocktail – Last Word – Gin, Luxardo, Bonal Gentiane Quina and Lime or Sober Santa – Cranberry, Grapefruit, ginger, and club soda
– Baked Feta with cherry tomatoes and basil
– Veggie Lasagna with eggplant, rosemary and bechamel sauce.
– Mushroom and squash risotto
– Beet, fennel, and fried cheese balls with blood orange vinaigrette dressing
– Cheese, olives, and nuts
– Vanilla Ice Cream and sherry with an oatmeal and raisin cookie or Budino al cioccolato (Italian style chocolate pudding)

Four course Italian Christmas menu for two people for $100. Menu includes option to select between two items for appetizer, entree, and dessert.
– Baked Feta with cherry tomatoes and basil or Beet, fennel, and fried cheese balls with blood orange vinaigrette dressing
– Veggie Lasagna with eggplant, rosemary and bechamel sauce or Mushroom and squash risotto.
– Cheese, olives, and nuts

Family size brunch menu for three to four people with three different options:
– Sourdough French toast with vanilla bean sweet cream cheese, cherry coulis and maple syrup for $50 or $55 for gluten free option.
– Biscuits and sage sausage gravy for $40.
– Cajun spiced tofu scramble with mozzarella. spinach, peppers, wild mushrooms and hollandaise for $40.

Charcuterie special for three to four people for $45.
– Charcuterie with Renegade salami selection, Vtopian cheese selection, tapenade, beer mustard, fruit compote, pickled vegetables and served with baguette.

Tommyknocker’s Cornish Pasty

Tommyknocker’s Cornish Pasty, vegan friendly restaurant in Port Townsend, is offering a curbside Christmas Eve Dinner.

The 5-course meal is $50 and needs to be pre-ordered by Wednesday, December 22 for pickup on Friday, December 24.

Vegan Menu:
– Artichoke Caprese Skewers
– Roasted Red Dog Farm Winter Squash Bisque with Crostini
– Mandarin Orange Salad with Dried Cranberries, Almond Slivers, Mixed Greens, & Citrus Champagne Vinaigrette
– Vegetable Wellington with Yukon Gold and Sweet Potato Au Gratin & Roasted Local Vegetables
– Vegan Creme Brulee for dessert.

Veggie Grill

Veggie Grill, vegan restaurant in Downtown Seattle & University District, has a Holiday Feast for 4 people for $75.

Menu:
– Butternut Squash & Sage Soup
– Turkey Wellington with Walnut Mushroom Stuffing
– Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes with Porcini Mushroom Gravy
– Green Beans with Everything Bagel Butter
– Cranberry Sauce.

A Carrot Cake tray with 8-10 servings can be added for $22 or a Chocolate Spiced Pumpkin Cake tray with 8 pieces can be added for $25. Need to pre-order by Friday, December 17 for pickup on Thursday, December 23 or Friday, December 24. All the details and to pre-order. This is the same holiday meal they had for Thanksgiving.

Viva Tacoma

Viva Tacoma, vegan restaurant in Tacoma, is offering a Christmas dinner for $35 per meal.
