Free Vegan Food

Amazon has a community banana stand in South Lake Union with free bananas for both Amazon employees and people walking by. It’s located on Terry Ave between Republican street and Harrison street and open weekdays between 8 am to 3:30 pm. The stand has been open since 2015!

Local Vegan Updates

  • Bloom restaurant just opened in Downtown Seattle. Their bento box style meals menu has a large assortment of vegan options.
  • Isle of Plants, new vegan grocery store in Pioneer Square, has opened with limited hours and online shopping. They plan to have full store opening this summer.
  • Mighty-O Donuts is re-opening their downtown Seattle location on 2nd & Madison.
  • The Shelter Lounge in Ballard is no longer vegan though they have a few vegan options.

Seasonal Specials & Flavors

Frankie & Jo’s

Frankie & Jo’s May ice cream flavors are inspired from food from Mexico including vanilla, masa, and coffee.

Chocolate Masa Cookie Ice Cream made with chocolate ice cream with blue masa chocolate cookie bits, swirls of dark caramel sauce and pepita seeds.

Mexico Morning Ice Cream made with coffee ice cream from coconut-oak milk,  flavored with coffee and cinnamon with swirls of dulce de leche and almond shortbread cookie crumbs.

Veracruz Vanilla Ice Cream is a coconut-oat vanilla ice cream swirled with vanilla caramel and chunks of brown sugar blondie.

Mighty-O Donuts

Cookies & Cream Donut is Mighty-O’s donut of the month. It’s a vanilla cake donut dipped in classic glaze and covered in crushed Newman-O’s cookies.

Raspberry Mocha is Mighty-O’s drink of the month. It’s a combination of espresso, scratch-made chocolate sauce, and organic raspberry syrup with the milk of your choice and topped off with freeze dried raspberries.

Molly Moon’s

Molly Moon’s vegan seasonal flavor is Vegan Chocolate Covered Strawberry. It will be the vegan seasonal option for all of spring.

Salt & Straw

Salt & Straw’s vegan ice cream flavor for May is Mathilde’s Hibiscus & Coconut Sherbet.
