Seattle & Tacoma Vegan Thanksgiving 2023

Discover restaurants in Seattle, Tacoma, and Port Townsend offering vegan, plant-based dine-in and to-go dinner and dessert options for Thanksgiving. Some restaurants are offering vegan options that are also gluten-free, soy-free, and nut-free. It’s recommended to make reservations or pre-order as early as possible.

Bake Shop

Vegan friendly cafe Bake Shop, located in lower Queen Anne/Uptown neighborhood, has a vegan Ginger Apple Cake for pre-order for $38.

Cafe Flora

Vegetarian restaurant Café Flora is having their annual dine-in Thanksgiving Dinner. They will have both indoor and heated outdoor patio seating at their Madison Valley location. Price is $85 per adult and $28 per child under 12 years old. Dinner reservation options begin at 1pm and last seating is at 6:45pm. Call restaurant at (206) 325-9100 for reservations. Vegan options are also gluten-free.

Vegan menu options include:

  • Starter: Butternut squash & cranberry bisque, spiced yogurt, fried sage and candied pepitas
  • Salad: Radicchio, frisee and Belgian endive with pomegranate & candied hazelnuts in a blood orange vinaigrette
  • Entrée: Roasted delicata squash stuffed with quinoa, wild rice & root vegetable pilaf with spiced heirloom carrot sauce
  • Sides: Yukon potato & cauliflower mash with our signature mushroom gravy, Braised kohlrabi & red cabbage, Roasted green beans with black garlic glaze, Cranberry apple chutney
  • Dessert: Pumpkin Pie

Kid’s menu includes (need to request to be made vegan):

  • Starter: Cauliflower tots served with housemade ranch dressing 
  • Salad: Romaine, celery, apple, grapes, & pomegranate with a creamy pumpkin dressing
  • Entrée: Shepherd’s pie filled with roasted squash, root vegetables and creamy mushroom gravy topped with whipped potatoes & crispy shallots, served with green beans and cranberry chutney
  • Dessert: Pumpkin pie with whipped coconut cream

Flora Bakehouse

Beacon Hill bakery, The Flora Bakehouse, has a vegan and gluten-free Pumpkin Pie with a multigrain almond crust for pre-order for $48 per pie.

Nuflours

Capitol Hill vegan friendly bakery Nuflours has vegan options that are made with allergen-friendly ingredients that are gluten-free, peanut-free, nut-free, and rice-free. Make sure to order the vegan option since most items include both vegan and non-vegan options.

The pre-order options include Thanksgiving basics and classics:

  • Apple Pie $35
  • Cherry Pie $35
  • Dinner rolls for $11.50 for six rolls.
  • Pie Shell Top & Bottom for $15.
  • One-pound bag of stuffing bread cubes for $10.

Plum Bistro

Capitol Hill vegan restaurant Plum Bistro has both dine in and take out options. Holiday menu will be available for dine in on both on November 22 and on November 23, Thanksgiving Day. Restaurant will be open 4pm to 9pm on November 22. Thanksgiving Day dine-in hours are 2pm to 7pm.

Dine-in menu includes several appetizers, dinner options and desserts options including gluten-free, soy free, and nut free options.

The dine-in dinner options include:

  • Maple Glazed Holiday Roast with Nanas Cornbread Dressing for $46. Includes mashed potatoes, gravy, grandaddy’s stewed green beans and cranberry sauce.
  • Pecan & Portobello Wellington for $45. Includes mashed potatoes and gravy, savory roasted pumpkins, and cranberry sauce.
  • Sage Cranberry Glaze Meatloaf for $43. Includes Simply good mashed potatoes and gravy, grilled asparagus, and cranberry sauce.

There are two to-go dinner options available for pickup on Thanksgiving Day. 

Smoked Maple Glazed Dinner Roast dinner serves 5-6 people and is $230. Meal includes:

  • Skillet Gravy
  • Simple Good Mash Potatoes
  • Nana’s cornbread stuffing
  • Granddaddy’s Southern bacon green beans and potato
  • Our home made Mac & Cheese

Thanksgiving Meatloaf Dinner serves 5-6 people and is $250. Meal includes:

Quickie Too Café has vegan Thanksgiving take out options in Tacoma.

The Thanksgiving Dinner for Two includes an option of either Smoked Seitan or Fried Seitan with sides of Green Bean Casserole, Cornbread Stuffing, Cranberry Sauce, Mashed Potatoes & Gravy, Candied Yams, Bag of Bread, and Whole Pumpkin Pie. Dinner is $70.

There are a la carte options including Mac & Yease, Gourmet Greens, Cheesy Potatoes, Hushpuppies, and Whole Pumpkin Pie for $13.99 each.

Last day for pre-orders is Saturday, November 18 for pickup on Thanksgiving Day.

Tommyknocker’s Cornish Pasty

Vegan friendly Port Townsend restaurant Tommyknocker’s Cornish Pasty has a vegan Thanksgiving Feast to go dinner for $49 per person. Pre-order on their website by November 20 for pickup on November 22, 2023.

Vegan menu includes:

  • Quinoa Stuffed Delicata Squash with Pomegranate and Spinach
  • Cranberry Sauce
  • Green Bean Casserole

Vegan café in Tacoma, Viva Tacoma, has a to-go Thanksgiving dinner for $45 for a single serving and $80 for a double serving.
