- Ben and Esther’s Vegan Jewish Deli didn’t end up opening in September and is opening on November 1st.
- Dough Joy Donuts Ballard food truck has closed and they’re looking for a new location. Their other locations are still open.
- El Borracho, in Ballard, has closed. Their other locations are still open.
- Jhanjay Vegetarian Thai Cuisine in Wallingford has closed.
- 45th Vegetarian Thai restaurant has opened where Jhanyjay was previously located.

- 10/20/2022 – Zach Sherwin, an LA-based comedian, long time vegan, and creator/host of The Crossword Show will be at The Crocodile on Thursday, October 20 at 7pm with The Crossword Show with Lindy West and Ellen Acuario. Tickets are $20 per person.

- Pumpkin Bread
- Pumpkin Spice Cinnamon Roll topped with a pumpkin spice frosting, pumpkin bread bites, cinnadoodle cookie bites, and cinnamon sugar
- Carnival Crunch Roll, a cinnamon roll topped with caramel frosting, popcorn, sprinkles, and marshmallows.
- Pizzas Rolls, savory roll base topped with marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, and mozzarella & cheddar shreds.
Frankie & Jo’s
Frankie & Jo’s, vegan ice cream shops, have 3 seasonal ice cream flavors for October.
- Dream State Ice Cream with pistachio-almond fudge.
- Night Sky Ice Cream, a chocolate ice cream with activated charcoal, dark chocolate sauce, and chocolate cookies.
- RGE “Twix” Ice Cream, a caramel date shake base with shortbread chunks, coconut sugar caramel, and chocolate.
HeartBeet Café
HeartBeet Café, vegan healthy cafes, has new seasonal menu items for fall including Butternut Squash Soup, Pumpkin Coconutty Smoothie, and Pumpkin Pie with Coconut Whip.
Mighty-O Donuts
Mighty-O Donuts, vegan donut shops, have a Vampire’s Delight Donut for Halloween. It’s a chocolate cake donut with chocolate glaze, raspberry stripes, and vegan gummy candy. Only available on Halloween. Their October donut is the Pumpkin Spiced Donut, a cake donut made with a spice mix and pumpkin with a pumpkin glaze and stripes. Their October drink is the Pumpkin Spice Latte which can be ordered hot or cold. It’s made with a pumpkin syrup, espresso, and topped with pumpkin spice.
Molly Moon’s
Molly Moon’s vegan ice cream flavor for October is Vegan Cookie Dough Ice Cream, a vegan ice cream with chunks of vegan cookie dough.
