  • Buckwheat crackers with eggplant malidzano, kumquat-shiso chutney, almond crema, grilled bok choy, and pickled daikon from Oxbow Farm.
  • Winter greens, watermelon radish, and chilled green beans in a creamy sesame dressing.
  • Asparagus-miso risotto cakes in a spiced lemongrass sauce with Oxbow Farm kabocha-acorn squash smash, maitake and shimeji mushrooms, pickled star fruit, and local micro nasturtium.
  • Theo’s dark chocolate mousse on a graham cracker crust enrobed in chocolate ganache with raspberry coulis and coconut whip.

Harvest Beat

Harvest Beat, in Wallingford, has a 5-course special occasion vegan dinner. They’re not open on Valentine’s Day but is open Thursday through Sunday before Valentine’s Day if you’re celebrating early. Dinner is $135 with wine pairing and $123 with non-alcoholic pairing.

KJ’s Cakery Bakery, in Kent, has several vegan bakery items for Valentine’s Day. Make sure to select the vegan option since the options include both a vegan and non-vegan option.

Pasado’s Safe Haven

Pasado’s Safe Haven is having a Sanctuary & Sweets walk on February 11th. The event includes a tour of the sanctuary and vegan sweets and treats. There are multiple tours throughout the day from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm. The cost is $35 for adults, kids ages 4-13 is $10, and free for kids 3 and under.

Viva Tacoma

  • Option of French Onion Soup or Roasted Pear Salad. French Onion Soup – Caramelized onion, fresh thyme and bay leaf in a savory, red wine broth topped with a toasted baguette and mozzarella. Roasted Pear Salad – Mixed greens & Belgian endive with roasted Bartlett pear, red onion and pomegranate tossed in maple mustard dressing & garnished with crushed pecans.
  • Portobello Steak or Chick-un Fettuccine Alfredo. Portobello Steak – Marinated Portobello over roasted potatoes, carrots and grilled onions garnished with garlic butter, parsley & balsamic drizzle. Chick-in Fettuccine Alfredo – Seasoned breaded tofu, fettucine noodles, broccoli, grilled onion & sundried tomato simmered in a rich creamy Alfredo sauce, served with a buttered baguette point.
  • Chocolate Raspberry Tart – Chocolate ganache poured over a sweet raspberry filling nestled in a chocolate shortbread crust and topped with fresh raspberries.
