Trans Day of Sanctuary at Pasado’s Safe Haven
May 9 @ 11:00 am – 2:00 pm
From Pasado’s Safe Haven website:
“Pasado’s Safe Haven is proud to invite trans people and their loved ones to our sanctuary for a relaxing day to rest and recharge. Explore our grounds, spend time with rescued animals, and simply be—without expectations, demands, or judgment. Pasado’s is a safe space where trans people can exist in peace, surrounded by nature and the company of loving, courageous animals. Here, all are safe and celebrated.
We will greet you when you arrive and provide a map and directions around our campus. There are no structured events or activities, just an open, safe space for you to unwind and reflect as you like.
You’ll have the opportunity to visit our Cow Barn, Dog Play Park, Kitty City, and goat and sheep yards. Staff and volunteers will be at each animal’s space to answer questions. We’ll provide vegan snacks, beverages, and more at our central event space, Pasado’s House. “
See Pasado’s Safe Haven website for more info and to register for event.
